Suggestion for a low hedge

It is an advantage to delineate the contours of a small garden. This isn't quite a hedge but is equally beautiful ! The height of this flowered hedge will be between 60 cm to 1 m. Certain deciduous or evergreen classic shrubs can be aded to this list.

Here is my suggestion for a 10 m low hedge :
1 Japanese barberry (Berberis thunbergii 'Atropurpurea Nana', 1 ceanothus (Ceanothus x delilianus), 1 Robin Hood rose (Rosa x moschata), 1 deutzia gracilis (Deutzia gracilis), 1 fuchsia magellanica (Fuchsia magellanica), 1 cherry laurel (Prunus laurocerasus), 1 St John's wort (Hypericum patulum 'Hidcote'), 1 dwarf purple willow (Salix purpurea 'Nana'), 1 potentilla (Potentilla fruticosa), 1 box leaf honeysuckle (Lonicera nitida), 1 spiraea (Spiraea japonica).
You can also include the fuchsia microphylla (Fuchsia microphylla) and the photinia red Robin (Photinia fraseri 'Little Red Robin') if you live in a warm place because these shrubs don't like frost.
