La Cuisine The Kitchen

L'entrée principale de la maison se fait par la cuisine avec son sol carrelé et sa cheminée. Auparavant la cuisine était située à l'endroit où se trouve le salon actuellement et ce n'était pas logique avec son plancher en parquet. Les lambris, qui cachaient les défauts des murs ont été retirés. Les murs égalisés et peints en blanc ainsi que les poutres du plafond. Enfin la fenêtre et la porte d'entrées ont été remplacées, ce qui a apporté plus de luminosité.

The principal entry for the house is by the kitchen with its tiled floor and chimney. Previously, the kitchen was sited where the living room now is, and wasn't practical with its wooden flooring. Panelling, that hid the walls was removed, the walls were repaired and painted white along with the ceiling beams. Finally, the window and the front door were replaced with double glazed units, which has created a light and airy space.
