The strawberry is a perennial herbaceous plant

CULTIVATIONThe strawberry propogates itself by suckers and can also be planted by clump division.

NEIGHBOURING PLANTSIt likes spinach and lettuce but avoid planting it near to cabbage.
DISEASES AND PARASITESMildew, chlorosis and grey rot. It is attacked by the click beetle, mole cricket, slugs, aphids and grubs.
