CULTIVATION

Sow in place in May to July during a waxing crescent moon.

NEIGHBOURING PLANTS

It likes being near cabbage, carrots, cucumber and potatoes.
It doesn't like being planted near to the liliaceae family (onions, garlic, leeks and shallots).

DISEASES AND PARASITES

Canker and rust are treated with a Bordeaux mix or a decoctation of horsetail.

ADVICE

Sow a row of beans every 15 days for a continuous harvest.
'Earth up' the plants as for potatoes.
