BROCCOLI (Brassica oleracea italica)

ROTATION It is grown in the leaf vegetable bed. CULTIVATION The seeds are sown in a nursery bed for planting in place in June during a waning crescent moon. NEIGHBOURING PLANTS The same as for the cabbage. DISEASES AND PARASITES The same as for the cabbage. ADVICE Broccoli is fast growing. It must be harvested before flowering by cutting  the terminal stem, new stems will come after.
