ROTATION It is grown in the leaf vegetable bed. CULTIVATION Sow in a nursery bed in April or May for transplanting in June during a waning crescent moon. NEIGHBOURING PLANTS It likes beetroot and lettuce but avoid planting near strawberries, tomatoes and beans. DISEASES AND PARASITES The same as for cabbage ADVICE It is better to harvest when it is 5 cm in diameter otherwise it becomes stringy. It keeps well in sand.
