OCA (Oxalis tuberosa)

ROTATION It is grown in the root vegetable bed or in the leaf vegetable bed. CULTIVATION By planting tubers or cuttings in March and April. Transplantation of cuttings is made during May. NEIGHBOURING PLANTS Avoid planting near plants that may overshadow. DISEASES AND PARASITES No diseases or parasites. ADVICE Earth up in September and harvest when the stems have passed the first frost, but before the really cold weather arrives. The tubers are cooked like potatoes before being eaten, but they don't take as long to cook.
