It is grown in the root vegetable bed.

CULTIVATION

Sow in May to July during a waning crescent moon.

NEIGHBOURING PLANTS

It likes being near carrots, spinach and cabbage.
It dislikes being planted near chervil.

DISEASES AND PARASITES

The same as for the turnip.

ADVICE

Harvest them in October or before the first frosts.
After trimming the leaves store them in sand in a cellar or silo.
